On February 28, the Davis Food Co-op invites you to our Souper Bowl, a ticketed event at the Veterans' Memorial Center Multi-purpose Room (14th and B Streets in Davis) from 4 to 6 pm.
If you like soups from local restaurants and the Elderly Nutrition Program in Yolo County, then you won't want to miss this event!
Advance tickets are $10 for adults, $3 for kids; kids tickets do NOT include a mug. If tickets are still available, they'll be sold at the door, but don't count on it.
We will have soup served from the kitchens of:
Sudwerk,
Osteria Fasulo,
Mustard Seed,
Davis Joint Unified School District Nutrition Services,
Dos Coyotes,
Monticello Bistro,
Seasons,
Davis Food Co-op Deli,
Caffe Italia,
Delta of Venus, and
The Co-op's Teaching Kitchen.
If you have questions about the Souper Bowl, please or telephone 758-2667 ext. 139 and leave a message.
Wine Tastings usually occur on the first three Fridays of the month from 6 to 8 PM.
February 5 – American Lagers
February 12 – Wines from Dow’s and W & J Graham & Co.
(no tasting on February 19 – cash register system takes over room)
For adults over 21, the cost is $1.00/taste, with as many tastes possible as their are wines to sample. (For beer tastings, we usually have a "slate" price or $1.00/taste.) All profits benefit the Yolo Community Care Continuum.
